- Every home deserves someone who treats it like their own. That's the standard the name holds us to.
- What makes Champion different?
- The standard isn't "does it pass" — it's every miter glued, every fixture level, paint cut in clean with full drying time between coats. That comes from 25+ years building custom homes, not just repairing them.
- What won't Champion do?
- Anything out of code, unsafe, or a shortcut that costs you later. We'll say so and point you elsewhere — not leave you with a problem.
- What does a job look like, start to finish?
- Details gathered up front, on-site if it calls for it. On time, or you're told if we're running late. Space protected before work starts, locked up after. You always know where things stand.
- Who is this for — and who isn't it for?
- Everyone. No project's too small to quote honestly. If a job's outside someone's budget, we'll say so instead of pushing it.
- What's next for Champion?

Meet the Founder
Sean Helleren — Owner
A Third-Generation Builder
Third-generation carpenter and general contractor. Before Champion, Sean spent 13 years running The Way Company, building custom homes, remodels, and builds that had nothing to do with houses at all — church camp sets built to look like a steam engine or a space pod, a concert stage sized for a full drum kit, once a 40-foot pirate ship built in pieces to fit through a standard three-foot door, then assembled on site into something tall enough to climb to the crow’s nest. His own words on the standard: “If you could dream it, we could really build it.” Cliché, maybe — but it held up, every time.
Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration (2006), with EMT training that taught the same thing a roof in August does: stay calm, work the problem.
Above all of it — Sean gave his life to Jesus, and calls it the best decision he’s ever made. That’s not separate from how Champion operates. It’s the reason behind it.
